Plus — 30% off ALL SETS AND INDIVIDUAL VOLUMES OF ARTSCROLL’S THREE MISHNAYOS SERIES: The Schottenstein Edition Mishnah Elucidated, The Ryzman Edition Hebrew Mishnah, and the Yad Avraham Mishnah!

The concept of Mishnah Yomi goes back to 1934, when the Kozoglover Gaon, Rav Meir Shapiro’s successor as Rosh Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin, suggested adding the study of one mishnah a day in Seder Zeraim and Seder Taharos to the Daf Yomi cycle, since there are no Gemara masechtos on those sedarim. In 1947, the idea was broadened to include all six Sidrei Mishnah — and the two-mishnayos-a-day initiative was born.

ArtScroll offers three different Mishnayos formats, each an incredible resource for those wanting to join Mishnah Yomi.

The Schottenstein Edition Mishnah Elucidated: Featuring a flowing translation and concise elucidation in the format of the Schottenstein Talmud, this edition is perfect for anyone seeking a clear, basic understanding of the Mishnah. It also includes in-depth notes for a deeper understanding, as well as the commentary of Rabbi Ovadiah Bartenura.

The Ryzman Edition Hebrew Mishnah: Multilevel Hebrew-language elucidation of Mishnah. Each volume contains the full text of the Mishnah, the commentary of Rabbi Ovadia Bartenura, a phrase-by-phrase translation and elucidation in readable Hebrew, as well as expanded explanations of the Mishnah for a greater understanding of the p’shat.

ArtScroll Mishnah with the Yad Avraham Commentary: ArtScroll’s first Mishnah Series includes clear translation, diagrams and illustrations, and the Yad Avraham commentary covering a broad range of commentators.

They’re all great. Pick the one that’s best for you and get started for your siyum!

The New Elucidated Sefer Chofetz Chaim: A Game-Changer, a Life-Changer!

From a small wooden house in a small Eastern European village came a sefer so huge, so holy, and so amazingly relevant to every single person that it changed the lives of generations of Jews, including our own: The way we think, the way we behave — and, most of all, the way we speak.

That sefer, of course, is Sefer Chofetz Chaim.

One of the most influential sefarim of the modern era, Rav Yisrael Meir Kagan’s Sefer Chofetz Chaim was the foundation of the “shemiras ha’lashon revolution.” Tens of thousands now follow the counsel of Rav Yehudah Zev Segal, the Manchester Rosh Yeshivah, to learn two halachos daily from the sefer, improving their lives and relationships immeasurably, and often seeing extraordinary yeshuos in many different aspects of their lives.

Many guidebooks based on the Chofetz Chaim are available, but now we can gain a new understanding of the depth and richness of the original Sefer Chofetz Chaim in the new elucidated and annotated edition published by ArtScroll in conjunction with the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation.

This masterful work is a game-changer, a life-changer! The product of thousands of hours of research and writing by a dedicated and talented team, it follows the ultra-successful format of ArtScroll’s Schottenstein Edition Talmud and other Torah classics, with a flowing phrase-by-phrase translation and elucidation, introductions to each new topic, and in-depth notes that add important information and background.

Another fantastic feature is the “Scenarios” that show the real-life application of the halachah, helping the reader apply each halachah to daily life. We read the Chofetz Chaim’s words, and then we see how they might play out in our contemporary world. You discover your co-worker has a gambling addiction — how should you deal with that? Someone asks you for shidduch information — are you allowed to provide negative information? You told a neighbor something that reflects badly on another person, and now you regret it — how should you make up for what you did? These are just a few of the realistic scenarios that accompany the halachos. And for the convenience of those following the “Shemiras Halashon Yomi” program, each halachah includes the relevant dates for learning.

We all want to improve our lives through shemiras halashon. The elucidated Sefer Chofetz Chaim is an important new tool to help us be successful.

Two Major New Books by Yisroel Besser: Arise and Sing: The power of the first prayers of the day through commentary, stories, and inspiration and Building for Eternity: The life and legacy of Reb Moshe Reichmann

Quick Kislev riddle: What could be better than a new Yisroel Besser book for Chanukah? The answer? TWO new Yisroel Besser books for Chanukah!

That’s right. ArtScroll presents two new books by Yisroel Besser that are very different — but that both provide the engaging stories and soul-stirring insights and inspiration that we’ve come to expect from him.

How does your day begin? With yawns and half-opened eyes? With pulsing adrenaline and mental to-do lists that shatter any possibility of tranquility?

Chazal show us a different way to start the morning: with gratitude, anticipation, joy and, yes, kedushah

With Birchos HaShachar.

Following the amazingly successful format of Yisroel Besser’s bestselling Nishmas: Song of the Soul, we can now enjoy Arise and Sing: The power of the first prayers of the day through commentary, stories, and inspiration.

Speaking with Yisroel Besser, you feel his passion, his belief that we can make a “good morning” into a great day. “The Anshei Knessess HaGedolah gave us a gift: tefillah,” he explains. “Every word of the morning tefillos is laden with significance, with the possibility to transform your whole day.”

Arise and Sing gives us a meaningful understanding of the prayers we say daily, while inspiring us through fascinating stories.

“Not only will it change your morning,” says the author, “it will change your whole day — and maybe your life.”

In Building for Eternity, Yisroel Besser brings us the extraordinary story of Reb Moshe Reichmann. It’s a story of honesty, modesty, bitachon — and deep love for Hashem, His Torah, and His people.

From modest beginnings, Reb Moshe Reichmann built his family firm, Olympia and York, into one of the world’s largest construction and real estate empires. It became a symbol of business integrity, a global kiddush Hashem. But He built more than skyscrapers. He built shuls and schools, kollels and kehlilos, impacting almost every aspect of Torah life. He gave more than just funding: He gave time, genuine concern, and spot-on advice.

The most respected financiers on earth were in awe of him. World leaders paid him homage. Yet he remained the modest ben Torah that he’d been as a young man, deferring always to the gedolim and making Torah study the central part of his life.

The author of the bestseller Just Love Them brings us another captivating biography that shows us just how much potential for greatness lies in every one of us.
